Color satin-finish 8 x 9.5 half-length portrait of Nixon affixed to its original 11 x 14 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in black ink, “To Carol and Ralph Albertazzie—With many great memories of our journeys together and with best wishes for the years ahead, from Richard Nixon, 4-21-77.” Reverse of mount bears an official White House photograph stamp. Noticeable crease to the upper right corner of the mount, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by an unsigned glossy press photo of Nixon aboard the personal plane of Chinese premier Chou en-Lai. Albertazzie was the pilot of Air Force One during the Nixon administration, who most notably flew the president on a historic trip to China. A fantastic association piece.
