American blues musician and songwriter, notable for bringing his distinctive style of blues to mainstream audiences (1925–1976). Rare vintage glossy 8 x 10 publicity photo of Reed playing his guitar, signed in blue ballpoint, “Best wishes, Jimmy Reed.” In fine condition, with some scattered light surface marks and a signature impression from another item placed on top of the photo.
