Ink signature, “R. E. Lee,” on an off-white slip; six strands of Lee’s hair, and a .25 x .25 blue swatch taken from one of Lee’s personal battle flags. All three items are nicely framed with a portrait of Lee, three plaques, and a small Confederate flag, to an overall size of 25 x 21. Accompanied by photocopied provenance from Charles Hamilton attesting to the authenticity of the lock of hair. In fine condition, with signature uniformly lightly faded, but still completely legible.
