Bold ink signature, “Dwight D. Eisenhower,” on an off-white 6.25 x 9.25 book page, to which was later added Eisenhower’s Order of the Day on June 6, 1944, delivered upon the D-Day invasion of France. The order reads, in part: “Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Forces: You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months.
