ALS in French, signed “I Stravinsky,” one page both sides, 5 x 5.5, October 15, 1944. Crisply penned letter written to the famous violinist Samuel Dushkin. Translated in full: “Have you seen and read the piece about the Louvre in 'Life' of 2nd October? There is a photograph showing a discussion at the Louvre, in front of the Mona Lisa's empty frame (page 94). On the following page you will find Niki trampling with the American ballet in Paris. Isn't that remarkable?” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
