The reasons for not making use of Miss Stanwyck’s own voice in the recording of the song eludes me entirely [handwritten addendum: 21 years ago, after all!]. David Raksin composed the score…and it is my assumption that the range of the song was not a comfortable one.” Markle also made a couple of ballpoint corrections to the text. In fine condition.
