Letter to George Cukor. In part: “I am afraid that if I could go to California I should prove to be a sort of wraith on your premises and make of your beautiful home a kind of haunted house. The ghost is not quite ready to go west. Perhaps, if you still want me, when I am in a better frame of mind. I hope you will forgive me, dear George, for not having seen My Fair Lady as yet. I want so much to see it and I am so proud of you for having brought it off so wonderfully well.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
