Distinguished vintage matte-finish 7.5 x 9.5 portrait affixed to a 10.5 x 14 New York Times Studios mount, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, “To my friend, comrade and advisor with warmest regard. To John Snyder, from Harry S. Truman.” A crease to the left side of the mount and slight silvering to dark areas of the image, otherwise fine condition. Snyder was Truman’s close personal friend and served as his secretary of the treasury. Originates from the Snyder estate. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
