George Eastman

American inventor and entrepreneur (1854–1932), founder of the Eastman Kodak company, whose invention of roll film revolutionized photography and helped make the once-specialized art and craft a popular pastime. Uncommon TLS signed “Geo. Eastman,” one page, 8 x 9.5, March 16, 1931. Letter to a gentleman. In part: “Your kind message to me on the occasion of the banquet recently tendered me by the Society of the Genesee in New York City remains a most cherished souvenir.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature). Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
