Since you so kindly offered to try and get me a car, may I impose on you? I don’t suppose it is at all possible, but I would like to have an Oldsmobile coupe, that is, with two doors and a large baggage space behind. I think they call it a ‘Club Coupe.’ Would you let me know on Tuesday if there is any possibility of obtaining one?” In very good condition, with central horizontal and vertical folds, toning to edges, and paper loss along bottom edge. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Chagall’s hand and signed on the reverse, “M. Chagall.” Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
