Headed at the top, “Post-War World No. 23,” and featuring an elaborate six-step machine for a father attempting to hang a picture frame resulting in a doctor arriving before the accident can happen. Signed in the lower right, “Rube Goldberg,” and signed and inscribed at the top, “Dear Dick: Hope you don’t have to use this idea in your new home—Love—Rube.” Scattered mild toning and soiling, and a couple creases and tears to borders, which could be easily matted out, otherwise fine condition.
