Flown printed fabric New York state flag, 6 x 4, flown to lunar orbit aboard Apollo 15, signed along the bottom in blue in, “Flown to the moon on Apollo 15, Al Worden CMP.” In fine condition, with heavy contrast to all writing and signature on the flag and an easily removable identification label sewn on to edge of flag. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Worden which reads, in part: “I hereby certify that the New York State flag…went to the moon aboard Apollo 15 in the spacecraft Endeavour. It remained in the command module during the lunar orbit phase of the flight. It has been in my personal possession since then.” Pre-certified Steve Zarelli and RR Auction COA.
