Actor (1896–1940) who worked primarily in the silent era, but whose final role was as a wounded soldier in Gone With the Wind. Scarce handsome vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 portrait, signed in fountain pen, “Very sincerely, George Hackathorne.” In very good condition, with a couple repaired tears to the right border, one touching the signature, wear and creases to the corner tips, and some rippling to the top edge.
