Payne Stewart

American golfer (1957–1999) who won three major tournaments before dying of hypoxia when the Learjet in which he was flying gradually lost cabin pressure, killing all six aboard, and crashed, unmanned, in a field in South Dakota. Color glossy 10 x 8 photo of Stewart celebrating his winning putt at the 1991 US Open at Hazeltine, signed in black felt tip. Double matted and framed with a printed scorecard from the tournament, bearing a pre-printed Stewart signature, to an overall size of 17.75 x 22. In fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
