Outstanding vintage matte-finish 10 x 13 photo of von Stroheim leaning against a cane, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Betty and Ben—my best friends—with all my love and best wishes! Erich, Los Angeles, Jan. 17th 1929.” In very good condition, with light scattered soiling and surface impressions, and some staining to the lower right corner.
