Indian actor (1924–1963) best remembered for his roles in The Thief of Baghdad and Black Narcissus, Sabu was the first Indian to achieve great success in Hollywood; however, he was restricted to stereotypical roles of Indians. He died at age 39 from a heart attack. DS, signed “Sabu Dastagir,” three pages both sides, 8.5 x 11, August 4, 1958. Standard agency contract between Sabu Dastagir and the Mitchell Gertz Agency, with Sabu agreeing to pay a 10% commission to Gertz. Signed in full at the conclusion by Sabu and Gertz. In fine condition, with a staples along the left side and a band of toning to the left border of the signed page. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
