TLS, one page, 7 x 10, personal letterhead, July 28, 1953. Letter to an admirer. In full: “Believe me, I appreciate your interest and thank you for your kind letter. I too served in the airforce, for three years with the 11th, in B-52’s based in Amchitka, Heiden, and at Elmendorf after V-J day. Recently, I returned from the high Andes of Peru where I’ve been making a picture for Paramount called ‘Legend of the Incas’ and at present I’m doing ‘The Naked Jungle,’ also for Paramount. I’ll try to do my best to make sure that you receive the fullest entertainment value from pictures in which I appear.” In very good condition, with scattered creases and wrinkling, and a tear to the right edge.
