TNS as president, one page, 7 x 8.5, White House letterhead, July 9, 1902. Brief note to General Bradley T. Johnson. In full, “Few things gave me more pleasure than to make the appointment of your grandson.” Roosevelt has crossed out a couple of typed words adding “of your grandson” in his own hand. Double suede matted and framed with a portrait and a biographical plaque to an overall size of 31 x 18.5. In fine condition, with a uniform shade of mild toning and a few light wrinkles. Oversized.
