Original souvenir menu from Presley’s February 1970 engagement at the International Hotel, 8.5 x 11, featuring full-page color images of Presley on the front and back covers, signed and inscribed on the front cover in black felt tip, “To Penny, Elvis Presley.” Collector’s notation inside menu reads, “February 1970 opening night.” In fine condition, with expected handling wear and light creasing, some mild soiling to inside of menu, and an unknown ballpoint signature and inscription on back cover. After his comeback shows at the International in 1969, Colonel Parker negotiated a five year contract for Elvis to play each February and August at the hotel at an annual salary of one million dollars. Presley played an astounding 46 sold-out shows at the International during February 1970, a true testament to his staying power. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
