He was heavily influenced by the work of Francois Truffaut. ALS signed “Jacques x,” one page both sides, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead sent from Paris, October 12, 1977. Demy writes, in part: “Shortly, I’ll send you an outline of my screenplay. I would like to do some rewriting before sending it to you. I miss Los Angeles and my friends already. Please, Dear George, accept my best wishes on your new project—I enjoyed very much that Sunday we spent together and I think of you.” In fine condition, with a paperclip impression through the personal stationery print.
