Program from an American Legion dinner in honor of MacArthur’s 75th birthday, 7.25 x 10.25, held on January 26, 1955, at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, signed and inscribed on the front cover in blue ink to Virginia Knight, wife of then-California governor Goodwin Knight, “To A lovely lady—Douglas MacArthur.” In very good condition, with scattered toning and soiling, and mild handling wear.
