Two fantastic 10.25 x 13.5 portraits, each featuring a pristine head-and-shoulders portrait of comedic pioneers, Laurel and Hardy, one signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “My Best Wishes Always Mr. Matyros, Sincerely! Stan Laurel”; and the other signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “Success and Good luck always ‘Matyro,’ Oliver Hardy, 1935.” Each is matted and framed to an overall size of 16 x 20. In fine condition, with mild silvering to the darker areas of Laurel’s image and some light foxing to the background of Hardy’s photo. Exceptionally crisp signatures and distinguished poses!
