Welles lends his distinctive voice to the Esquire Jazz Concert series

DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, November 7, 1945. Agreement between Welles and Schwimmer and Scott, representing Esquire, Inc., for Welles to be “narrator and master of ceremonies on the Esquire Jazz Concert broadcast.” For his services, Welles will be paid $3000 net. Signed at the conclusion by Welles, who has also initialed the small rider stapled to the front of the document. Punch and staple holes and pencil notations to top, aforementioned staple, light toning, and an ink notation to bottom, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
