Popular big band leader (1904–1944). In 1942, Miller joined the U.S. Air Force and organized the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band to entertain the troops. In December 1944, on a flight from England to Paris, the plane Miller was traveling in disappeared over the English Channel and was never found. Vintage matte-finish 7 x 5 photo of Miller performing with his orchestra, signed in fountain pen. Matted and framed to an overall size of 12 x 10. In fine condition, with a couple trivial creases and some mild edge rippling. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
