Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Rhode Island (1707–1785) and a delegate to the Continental Congress. Ink signature, “Step Hopkins,” on an off-white 3 x 1.25 slip. In fine condition, with light show-through from writing on reverse, as well as some adhesive remnants to reverse.
