Typed memo, signed as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, January 12, 1953. Memo to John W. Snyder. In full: “The attached copy of a memorandum which I have addressed to President-elect Dwight D. Eisenhower is self-explanatory. This memorandum should be called to the attention of the Secretary of the Treasury-designate, the Chief of the U. S. Secret Service, and made part of Henry J.
