Vintage matte-finish 7.25 x 9.5 head-and-shoulders photo of Cody in a buckskin jacket and hat, signed and inscribed in black ink “W. F. Cody, ‘Buffalo Bill’ To my old friend Jack Gardner 1915.” In very good condition, with trimmed edges, small tear to left edge, reinforced on the reverse with tape, scattered light silvering to areas of background and around signature, and some light flaking of ink to several strokes of signature and inscription, not affecting the legibility.
