Hughes captures a moment of solitude at the conclusion of the Senate’s investigation in 1947

Vintage fountain pen signature, “Howard Hughes,” on a tan 5.25 x 8 folded sheet, just above a pencil signature from his lawyer during the trial, T. A. Slack, adding the date August 11, 1947. In fine condition, with light creasing. Accompanied by a glossy photo of Hughes in the courtroom during his August 1947 hearing, and an original newspaper clipping of the same photo.
