Secretary of War appoints Owen Ralph Meredith a “Cadet of the United States Military Academy.” Signed at the conclusion by Taft and countersigned by the Military Secretary Frederick C. Ainsworth. Intersecting folds, only one of which lightly grazes the first letter of the signature, light surface creasing, and some faint, scattered discoloration, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a later military appointment, signed by Harry H. Woodring. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
