Alexander Fleming

Scottish bacteriologist (1881–1955) who shared the 1945 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his role in the discovery and isolation of penicillin. TLS, one page, 5.5 x 8.5, Wright-Fleming Institute of Microbiology letterhead, September 11, 1951. Brief letter to a collector. In part: “Thank you very much for your letter of August 10th which I got on my return from vacation.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
