Jackson grants a soldier his hard earned land

Vellum partly-printed DS as president, one page, 15.5 x 9.5, November 24, 1829. President Jackson grants “Leroy Jordan…a solider in the Virginia line a certain Tract of Land estimated to contain 100 acres,” under “An Act regulating the Grants of Land appropriated for Military Services.” Signed boldly at the conclusion by Jackson. In good condition, with intersecting folds and a small area of separation at the crux of two of the folds, surface creasing, a small tear towards the top left corner, uniform toning and scattered soiling, and a vertical strip of repair tape on the reverse. White seal faded and worn, but intact. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
