I’ve still got a long way to go but at least to see a little progress is gratifying…We had a nice Birthday party but the New Year started with a lousy virus that landed me in bed where I have been ever since.” Along the edge of the first page, Gardner adds a postcript in green ink, signed “Ava.” In fine condition, with scattered creases and wrinkles, punch holes to top edges, and office stamps to both pages.
