In full: “Your letter of February 19th and the proof of the portraits of the Presidents of the United States have been received. I am very much obliged to you for your kindness in sending them to me.” Letter is affixed to a slightly larger black sheet. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, scattered toning and soiling, heavier to edges from adhesive, a couple pencil notations, and mounting remnants to bottom blank area.
