Ink signatures, “James Monroe” as president and “John Quincy Adams” as secretary of state, on an off-white 6.75 x 3.25 slip clipped from a larger document dated 1823. Slip is affixed to an 8.5 x 4.5 off-white album page. Several vertical creases, through letters of both signatures, several vertical ink lines, expected wrinkling, light surface wear, and a few strokes of both signatures light, but legible, otherwise very good condition.
