Signed and inscribed on the dedication page, “To Bee, My thanks & appreciation, Walt Disney.” Mile edge toning to pages, a few creases and tiny edge tear to signed page, owner’s bookplate affixed to inside front cover, scattered scuffing and light surface marks to boards, and some minor end fraying and soiling to spine, otherwise fine condition. Walt Disney’s second full-length animated feature, Pinocchio, would not debut in theaters until 1940. Because animated production took several years, filmmakers sought to copyright the film’s elements in advance of the finished project.
