American actor (1931–1955) best known for his star turns in three 1950s screen classics: East of Eden, Rebel Without a Cause, and Giant. His untimely death in a high-speed car crash elevated him to the status of Hollywood legend. Excellent and crisp vintage fountain pen signature and inscription, “To Sunny, my best, James Dean,” on a salmon-colored 5.75 x 3.75 album page, with a small clipped photo of Dean affixed to lower right corner. Archivally double matted and framed with a classic portrait of Dean, to an overall size of 14 x 21.25. In fine condition.
