Olympic athlete (1883–1951) who was a member of and trainer for the Irish American Athletic Club, and competed for the U.S. Olympic Team at the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis, at the 1906 Intercalated Games in Athens, and at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Robertson in a suit and tie standing on an athletic field, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Ed F. Nigsch with best wishes from Lawson Robertson.” In very good condition, with scattered creases and surface impressions. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
