Signed book: The Art of Walt Disney by Robert Feild. NY: Macmillan Company, 1942. Hardcover with dustjacket, 8.5 x 11.25, 290 pages. Signed and inscribed in fountain pen under his image opposite the title page, "To Anora Ramirez, With best wishes, Walt Disney." Book contains 59 illustration plates, some in color. In very good condition, with mirroring of portion of signature and inscription on title page (as well as a small tear to the bottom of the title page), ownership sticker to front pastedown, a small edge tear and light creasing to signed page, and scattered light toning and soiling to covers and spine. Dustjacket exhibits a light overall shade of toning, as well as a small area of paper loss, and scattered creasing to both front and back. A boldly signed example of one of the first volumes to consider Disney artwork as true art. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
