Snyder, President Truman notes that he has “already employed an architect for the building I propose to build,” a reference to the Truman Library. In a 20-word handwritten postscript dated the next day, the president writes of the day they just spent at the dedication of two Arkansas dams: “Yesterday was a grand day for me.
