"When I come to Boston, you are to send me your business card. I will be most happy to let you have some tickets"

LS in Italian, one-page both sides, 8 x 10.5, Hotel Knickerbocker letterhead, January 28, 1914. Letter of thanks to Mr. Paolucci. In full (translated): 'I have received your kind letter together with the majolica pottery that you gave me as a gift on account of your exquisite kindness. In sending you my most heartfelt thanks, I beg you to accept this small photograph that I am herewith enclosing; keep in mind that, when I come to Boston, you are to send me your business card. I will be most happy to let you have some tickets.' Central horizontal and vertical folds, uniform shade of mild toning, a few light creases, and slight show-through from writing on reverse, otherwise fine condition. Caruso is not common in letters.
