In full: 'Thank you for your sweet wire. I still don’t know for sure when I will be in N. York but maybe the sixth of October. I shall call the number you gave me and if they ask who is calling I shall say Harriet Brown - that is my new name. If your life is complicated and you are not free to see me, I shall understand. I don’t even know yet where I shall stay. It seems very difficult to find a place, and that is all I can tell you today. I shall like very much to see you again, if it is possible. But I have a feeling that you are not free. But at least I shall try. So perhaps soon.' In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in pencil by Garbo to 'Lieut.
