Vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 head-and-shoulders photo of Houdini smiling devilishly, signed in fountain pen, “Houdini.” Reverse of photo is stamped “Harry Houdini Collection, Houdini Original.” In fine condition, with some scattered light soiling, not affecting signature or overall image. Original photographer studio prints of this photo, a personal favorite which he used extensively in his programs and publicity materials after 1910, are scarce, especially an autographed example signed as nicely as this one.
