TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Jack Dempsey’s Broadway Restaurant and Bar letterhead, April 30, 1964. Letter to an associate of the Al Nelson Boxing Collection. In part: 'Thank you for your letter…and your kind interest shown in offering to supply me with a copy of the photo which was taken just before the bout with Jess Willard. This would be the one you mention in particular which shows my hand before insertion in the glove.' In fine condition, with a uniform shade of mild toning. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
