Friends and fellow track teammates at UCLA, Johnson defeated Yang (1933-2007) in one of the greatest decathlon events in Olympic history in 1960. Vintage 8 x 10 paperstock photo of the good friends and rivals posing together while holding various decathlon equipment, signed in black ink by Yang, adding Chinese characters underneath, and signed later in black felt tip by Johnson. In fine condition, with a small spot of toning to lower border. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
