Hall of Fame football executive (1912–1971) who owned the Cleveland/Los Angeles Rams from 1941 until his death. Among his notable accomplishments was signing the first African American NFL player after World War II, Kenny Washington, in 1946. Vintage glossy 8 x 9.75 Los Angeles Rams publicity photo, signed in black felt tip "With best regards, Dan Reeves." A Rams credit stamping and photographer's credit stamping appear on the reverse. Some horizontal surface scuffs, impressions from a typed identifier on the reverse, trimmed edges, and Reeves retracing an unsuccessful first attempt at a signature, otherwise fine condition.
