Renowned college football coach (1908–1973) who, after serving as an assistant at Georgetown, Michigan State, and Fordham, became head coach at Boston College. In 1941, he became head coach and athletic director at Notre Dame, his alma mater. Vintage 6 x 7 paperstock photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen "Best wishes to James Higgins [sic], Sincerely, Frank Leahy."
