Signed in black felt tip, “Rusty Schweickart, Apollo 9 LMP.” In very fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Hengeveld that reads in part: “The painting shows how Apollo-9 astronaut Rusty Schweickart is making a spacewalk from the LM Spider, while Dave Scott is retrieving an experiment in the open hatch of the CSM Gumdrop. Command Jim McDivitt is inside the LM. taking pictures of his two crewmates…The Apollo-9 LM was different in appearance from later models, but I think it was a beautiful and unique spacecraft and the Earth is a spectacular background for it.” Pre-certified Scott Cornish and RRAuction COA.
