Signed book: 1951 The Sporting News Dope Book. Softcover, 5 x 6.5, 156 pages. Signed in blue ink on the first page by 15 Hall of Famers and baseball stars. Signers are: Ty Cobb, Hank Greenberg, Warren Giles, A. B. Chandler, Larry Doby, Bob Doerr, Rich Ashburn, Robin Roberts, Curt Simmons, Mel Parnell, Vern Stephens, Frank Dascoli, Martin Stuart, and two others. Scattered creasing to the front cover, light bend to the signed page along the spine touching the signatures by Doby and Cobb, Cobb’s name bumping into the securing staple, and a small piece of old tape at the very bottom of the spine, otherwise fine condition.
