Description

Wilson signs a visually striking Princeton diploma

Partly-printed vellum DS, in Latin, one page, 27.5 x 23.5, 1899. Beautiful and ornate Princeton University diploma, headed at the top, “Omnibus Literarum Studiosis,” presented to Alexander Armstrong, Jr., signed at the conclusion in black ink by Wilson, and also signed by Henricus Cameron, and John Hibben. Scattered light creasing and foxing, and a bit of trivial skipping to signatures, otherwise fine condition. Rolled. The document retains its green ribbon to the left edge. A visually impressive document with a large engraved vignette at the top and all writing clear and bold. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
