Rare First National City Bank of New York business check, 8.25 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Kennedy, payable to Pitney-Bowes for $39.60, October 8, 1959. Impressively archivally double cloth matted with a portrait of JFK and letter from Pitney-Bowes revealing Kennedy had already paid the invoice, resulting in the return of the offered document. Framed to an overall size of 24 x 17.5 by Gallery of History. In fine condition, with a few small staple holes at the upper left hand corner and top edge. Kennedy, at the time a junior senator from Massachusetts, sent this payment as he prepared his bid for the 1960 presidential election.
